Guest Speaker on Screwtape Letters ALL are welcome! Friday, September 22 following the 5:30 pm Mass in the gathering Space.( approx. 6pm-7pm) Fr. Daniel Koehl is a native of Fort Wayne, being ordained a priest on June 5th, 2021. After his ordination to the priesthood, Father Koehl served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Charles Borromeo parish in Fort Wayne and as chaplain to the Catholic students at Purdue Fort Wayne. In 2023, he was assigned to be the pastor of Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish, in North Manchester. With this assignment he retained his chaplaincy at Purdue Fort Wayne and added the chaplaincy to the Catholic students at Manchester University. Fr. Koehl is also Co-host of The Deus Vult Podcast, a weekly show which covers a vast spectrum of topics related to Catholic Life and Culture. Fr. Koehl will speak on the context and times of The Screwtape Letters and its author, C.S. Lewis, give a synopsis of the text itself, and at least one interesting place where a reference to the text can be found in pop culture.
